We have so much momentum going right now in support of House Bill 6932, An Act Concerning Paid Family and Medical Leave which would allow employees to take up to 12 weeks of paid time off (at 100% of their pay up to a $1,000 a week maximum) to care for a new baby (both moms and dads would be covered), care for a sick child or elderly parent, to take care of their own serious illness or to take care of an injured service person. But we need your help in reminding legislators why this issue is important to Connecticut employees. A quick and easy thing you can do right now is to send your legislators an email or phone call asking them to support the paid family and medical leave bill. Your voice is important and matters!
