Victory in Connecticut!
On June 25, 2019, Governor Ned Lamont signed paid family and medical leave into law in Connecticut! Connecticut became the 7th state, in addition to Washington D.C., to pass a comprehensive paid leave plan.

“As a small business owner I am so proud that paid family and medical leave is a reality in Connecticut. This program creates real choices for both workers and employers, which is a beautiful thing,” said Rory Gale, small business owner of Hartford Prints!.

No one should be forced to choose between the family they love, their own well being, and the job they need. The Campaign for Paid Family Leave is a coalition of organizations that support the implementation of a comprehensive system of paid family and medical leave. Paid leave benefits workers and their families and builds a competitive economy.
