Two bills this session – S.B. 1 and H.B. 6212 – would provide paid family and medical leave to workers needing time off to take care of themselves or an ill loved one.

Next step: The public hearing for both paid family and medical leave bills is Thursday, 2/16 beginning at 2 pm in room 2E of the Legislative Office Building (300 Capitol Ave., Hartford).

Are you interested in testifying in support of paid family and medical leave? No biggie if you can’t make it in person – the CT CGA offers the opportunity to submit written testimony, which will also be readily available to legislators.
